Quick overview of the assignment
Students you will need to come up with a solution to this scenario
Objective: Design and build a hole in One Mini Golf Hole!
Scenario: The International Day Committee have requested that our Design class design and create an international mini golf course for International Day!
Scenario: The International Day Committee have requested that our Design class design and create an international mini golf course for International Day!
Criterion A: Inquiry and Analyzing
1. I think the reason the "International Day Committee" needed mini golf courses for International Day is because they want us to have fun during that day but not only that, when we make the golf courses they have to be based on nationalities. For example; Canadian, with wood but the flag somewhere, a lot of trees (fake trees), and etc. They don't want you just to play mini golf. They want everyone to play mini golf with their nationalities and other nationalities. Another example; A Kuwaiti student would obviously play an Kuwaiti mini golf course, but he might want to try other types, and so he would try other nationalities. But overall, its going to be fun!
2. The main features for such product will help the students realize all the nationalities and cultures that the school contains. The students can learn new cultures but with fun.

Looking threw these mini golf courses, they all have one thing in common. They all have the difficulty that makes it fun! They carry those obstacles that make you have fun and make it more challenging. But also they have nature. So, from looking at those examples I think I should add nature to my mini golf course but all take these examples under consideration. The mini golf courses shown in this slideshow also have grass and color so I'll be sure to put that in my mini golf course for International Day.
3. When researching for ANY topic you need to be precise and exact. You need to know if the website (when researching threw a device) is trust worthy and carries the right information/images. Since were in Design class doing our Mini Golf Unit, we need to research about how to make a mini golf course and how to make sure it will be successful. But before you research you do the mind map and the mind map is where you brainstorm about what you are planning to put on your mini golf course. As for the research table, the research table is for you to write down where you got this information, why you got it, and etc.
4. As said, you'll need to find out where you are researching is trust worthy and carries the correct information. Also, make sure that you are right on the topic you are searching. For example; if I were to research about Lego, I would take as much information of that topic. You can use examples but don't use your examples as another topic your researching. This is not advise only for this class, also for many others. For example; Individuals & Societies were researching about the Pre-Islamic Times.

Criterion B: Developing Ideas
- Our Mini Golf Course must be Big & Wide
- Our Mini Golf Course must have a ramp towards the end
- Our Mini Golf Course must have obstacles
- Our Mini Golf Course must have a (smooth) grass surface
- Our Mini Golf Course must be difficult to be more challenging and fun
- Our Mini Golf Course must have bottles to make the (large) pipes
- Our Mini Golf Course must be option 2/ the L-Shape
- Our Mini Golf Course must have plastic walls for the obstacles
- Our Mini Golf Course must have cardboard to make the cardboard box
Our mini golf course is based on Miami/Tropical with a lot of nature, rocks, obstacles, and etc. It's also going to be an "L" shape.

Our mini golf course will have a half a meter/50 cm ramp by height and width by a meter. Our mini golf course will also have will have pipes that go by 3 ways, the middle pipe leads strait while the other two are leading back to the beginning.

Criterion D: Evaluation
1. I could build the mini golf course to give it a shot before anyone uses it (just in case.) If that occurs, that will allow me to identify if anything is not right or is not functioning.
